I used to have one bar around here, at best two which was not enough to send my emails or sustain my social media communications. I bought this unit only last week and so far I am very happy with the results. I always have 4 bars which is a huge upgrade from the one and two that I had had before. It does a very great job!
I reside in a rural area on the lee side of a hill. The landline is unreliable as it can have an outage of up to a fortnight. The first product was not working, but the company replaced it for me with another that works superbly. Since I connected it to an omnidirectional antenna, we have been getting full bars inside the house and within a radius of 40m outside. Although my initial experience wasn't pleasant, I am now a happy customer.
Before installing the unit, we'd get a max of 1 bar at two windowsills in the house. We were unable to make or receive calls; just texting if luck was on our side. Today, I can call and text from any point in the house. I have connected the unit to an external antenna.
The unit was a little too expensive, so it was a shame that we had to spend too much to be able to use our phones just 30 km from the nearest town. Nevertheless, I cannot regret purchasing the product. I had my doubts at first, but I am happy now.
Installing the product is a bit tricky. The units must transmit and receive concurrently on the same frequency. Thus, it is wise to place them far apart. An external antenna comes in very handy, especially when the units are not far apart. So, just follow the instructions and you will get there easily.
